Daily ballet technique anchors the program, with pointe or pre-pointe, repertoire, character dance, Graham technique, and conditioning.

Expand your artistry.

Explore music, ballet history, and musical theater. Workshops connect classroom practice with auditions, performance, and a dancer’s life.

Develop your practice in a community that values encouragement, thoughtful corrections, and dancer wellbeing.

02 / FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

A place to grow.
At your level.

The 2026 program grouped dancers by age and experience. Faculty can adjust placement to suit each dancer.

I

AGES 8–9

A strong beginning.

At least 2 years of consistent ballet training.

II

AGES 10–12

The next challenge.

At least 3 years of ballet training, including pre-pointe.

III

AGES 13–18

Deepen your practice.

4–5 years of ballet training and at least one full year on pointe.

When is the next intensive?+

Next-session dates have not been confirmed on this page. The most recent published sessions ran August 17–22 and August 24–29, 2026. Please contact WBC before making summer plans.

Is this right for my dancer?+

The published program serves ages 8–18 with prior ballet experience. Compare the three training levels above, then ask WBC about placement and next-session requirements.

Can my dancer attend just one week?+

The 2026 program offered either week individually or both together. WBC encouraged two weeks for continuity. Ask the team which options will be available next summer.

For the next session, start by contacting WBC for confirmed dates, availability, and registration instructions. The previous enrollment process required both a registration form and payment at checkout to secure a place.
